The projects below showcase our experience across metal, TPO, modified bitumen, built-up, and retrofit roofing systems, from standard replacements to complex insurance restoration projects.
Client references are available and can speak directly to our claim management, communication, and quality of the roof work.
Hearts & Hammers has been serving commercial property owners since 2017 and is an A+ BBB Accredited business. Our team brings experience from millions of square feet of commercial roof replacements across industrial, retail, institutional, government, and other large-scale facilities, including complex insurance-funded projects.

This 220,000 SF metal roof replacement was funded through insurance after hail damage, with a $3.6 million claim and only a $10,000 deductible. We installed a new standing seam system, improved drainage, coordinated HVAC work, removed obsolete penetrations, and completed structural modifications.

This complex 180,000 SF hail claim resulted in around $4 million in insurance funding, with only a $10,000 deductible. The project included a fully adhered TPO system over concrete, more than 100 skylights, and extensive logistics, waterproofing, safety, and staging requirements.

This 65,000 SF hail claim resulted in approximately $800,000 in insurance funding, with only a $2,500 deductible. We removed two existing roofing layers and upgraded the building to a mechanically fastened TPO system with a 20-year No Dollar Limit manufacturer-backed warranty.

This 70,000 SF insurance-funded project totaled approximately $1.3 million, with only a $5,000 deductible. We installed a TPO retrofit over the existing standing seam roof with flute fill, insulation, cover board, and a 60-mil TPO system with a 20-year NDL warranty. The project was completed in approximately two weeks due to the size of the crew we used.
Our team's largest project was a 1-million-square-foot insurance-funded roof replacement at an active rail yard following tornado wind and debris damage. Because of the nature of the facility, certain project details remain confidential.
The project lasted a year and required an exceptional level of planning, safety oversight, and daily coordination. Crews worked around active rail operations, heavy equipment, restricted areas, hazardous materials, deliveries, and continuous facility activity.
Every aspect of the project had to be closely controlled, including manpower, access, material staging, fall protection, weather, production, safety, and quality assurance. Daily logs, inspections, progress reporting, and constant coordination with facility management were critical throughout the project.
This project reflects our ability to execute large, high-risk, highly complex commercial roofing projects with disciplined planning, tight coordination, and consistent control from start to finish.
A project reference is available upon request for prospective projects of comparable scale and complexity, subject to confidentiality requirements.
